Brazilian President Dons Palestinian Keffiyeh

IQNA – In a symbolic show of solidarity with the people of Palestine, Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva wore a Palestinian Keffiyeh.

The gesture came during the credential presentation ceremony of the new Palestinian ambassador to Brazil, Marwan Jibril.

It highlights Brazil’s ongoing support for Palestinian rights and bilateral ties.

The Brazilian president placed the Keffiyeh around the neck of the new Palestinian ambassador after removing it from his shoulders during a ceremony to present his credentials.

Last July, Brazil joined the genocide case filed by South Africa at the International Court of Justice over the Israeli regime’s atrocities in the Gaza Strip.
